Ketzev is a local-first Mac app. It does not require a Ketzev account, and it does not sell your information.

Tasks, time and reports

Your tasks, checklists, time sessions, preferences and reports are stored on your Mac. Ketzev does not operate a server that receives this information. You can export your task data from the app.

Voice capture

Voice capture starts only when you activate the microphone. Audio is processed through Apple’s Speech Recognition framework to produce task text. Ketzev does not upload recordings to a Ketzev server or retain audio recordings.

Calendars on your Mac

If you grant Calendar access, Ketzev reads the calendars and events available through macOS so it can show your schedule and reminders. Ketzev does not create, modify or delete those events.

Google Calendar

If you choose to connect Google, Ketzev requests your Google account email address, your calendar list and read-only access to calendar events. It uses that information only to show the calendars you select, display today’s events and provide reminders.

• Ketzev never requests access to Gmail messages.
• Google access credentials and account selections are stored locally in your Mac’s Keychain.
• Ketzev does not sell, share or use Google Calendar data for advertising.
• Disconnecting an account removes its local Ketzev connection. You can also revoke Ketzev from your Google Account’s third-party connections.

Analytics and third parties

Ketzev currently includes no Ketzev analytics or advertising service. Apple, Google and Cloudflare may process information under their own policies when you use their operating-system, sign-in, calendar or website services.
