Ketzev is a local-first Mac app. It does not require a Ketzev account, and it does not sell your information.

Tasks, time and reports
Your tasks, checklists, time sessions, preferences and reports are stored on your Mac. Ketzev does not operate a server that receives this information. You can export your task data from the app.
Voice capture
Voice capture starts only when you activate the microphone. Audio is processed through Apple’s Speech Recognition framework to produce task text. Ketzev does not upload recordings to a Ketzev server or retain audio recordings.
Calendars on your Mac
If you grant Calendar access, Ketzev reads the calendars and events available through macOS so it can show your schedule and reminders. Ketzev does not create, modify or delete those events.
Google Calendar
If you choose to connect Google, Ketzev requests your Google account email address, your calendar list and read-only access to calendar events. It uses that information only to show the calendars you select, display today’s events and provide reminders.
- Ketzev never requests access to Gmail messages.
- Google access credentials and account selections are stored locally in your Mac’s Keychain.
- Ketzev does not sell, share or use Google Calendar data for advertising.
- Disconnecting an account removes its local Ketzev connection. You can also revoke Ketzev from your Google Account’s third-party connections.
Website analytics and downloads
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, page views, referring sites, approximate countries and page performance. This does not identify visitors by name or email and does not use analytics cookies. We do not send feedback text, contact details, app tasks or calendar data to analytics. The site does not load the analytics script when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
Website download buttons use a Cloudflare service that records daily totals by app version and approximate country, then redirects to the installer. These are download requests, not confirmed installations or completed downloads. Retries, bots and blocked requests can affect the totals. Direct installer links and in-app updates bypass this counter. The counter skips privacy signals, common bots and prefetches; it does not store IP addresses, names, emails, cookies or per-person download history. We retain these aggregate totals for up to two years.
Feedback you choose to send
The feedback form stores your message, category, submission reference and time, plus your name or email only if you provide them. Both contact fields are optional. We use feedback to improve Ketzev and your email only to reply—not for a mailing list or to identify anonymous visitors or downloads. Please do not include passwords, private task information or other sensitive details.
Feedback is stored privately in Ketzev’s Cloudflare account and automatically removed from the active database after 180 days. Cloudflare’s recovery copies may retain deleted data for an additional short period under its service retention. You can request deletion using your submission reference by emailing the address below. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for spam, and short-lived rate limits use network addresses without adding them to the feedback database. Our application logs do not contain message text, contact details or security tokens.
Third-party services
The Mac app does not include this website analytics script. Apple, Google and Cloudflare may process network and other information under their own policies when you use their operating-system, sign-in, calendar, security or website services. Ketzev does not sell your information.
